Latchford Architects we always start with passive strategies first, so we can minimize our reliance on mechanical systems as much as possible. We focus on simple, common sense, sustainable building strategies, such as proper solar orientation, shading studies and selection of regionally available materials. We also look to technological innovations in conservation and we are increasingly alert to energy efficiency and water saving alternatives.
